Equilateral Prisms are available in both Laser Quality and Analytical Quality polish designated as LQ (Laser Quality) and AQ (Analytical Quality).
Equilateral Prisms are available in BK7 Glass & UV Fused Silica. Equilateral Prisms are a dispersing type of prism typically used for wavelength separation applications. The three sides of the prism are of equal length. A light ray is twice refracted passing through the prism with total deviation a function of prism material index of refraction, and hence wavelength.
